Nothing says “beat the heat” quite like an indoor Christmas market in the height of a Florida summer, and the Florida State Fairgrounds is leaning all the way into it this weekend. The Tampa Christmas in July Arts & Craft Show runs Saturday, July 25 from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, July 26 from 10 AM to 4 PM, with more than 175 vendors selling handcrafted gifts, home décor, jewelry, holiday items, and treats.
Santa’s making a special summer appearance if you want photos before the actual holiday rush hits, and the fairgrounds are giving away free tote bags to the first 250 guests through the door each day — worth showing up a little early for if you’re planning to buy anything, since craft show hauls add up fast.
It’s an easy one to build a Saturday or Sunday around: air-conditioned, browsable at your own pace, and genuinely useful if you’re the type who starts holiday shopping absurdly early (no judgment). The Fairgrounds sit just off I-4, so it’s a straightforward trip whether you’re coming from downtown Tampa or out toward Plant City.
