Hikari Food Hall — Seminole Heights
4205 N. Florida Ave. A new food hall from Hakki Akdeniz, the NYC-based owner of Champion Pizza, with 8 to 9 different concepts planned inside — Champion Pizza itself will be one of them, alongside reported plans for Korean street food, Japanese fusion, Vietnamese fare and American smashburgers. Worth knowing: “Hikari” is the name on the permit paperwork, but ownership says it may still change before opening.
Opening date: unannounced. Permit documents confirm the project and location; no firm opening date has been reported yet.
