Ybor City’s Saturday Night Lineup: Three Venues, Three Very Different Shows

Ybor City doesn’t need much of an excuse for a good Saturday night, and this weekend it’s stacked across three venues within a few blocks of each other. The Ritz Ybor hosts Clarent for a Latin music night starting at 7:00 PM — a solid pick if you want dancing over standing-and-watching. A few blocks over, Crowbar has Have Gun, Will Travel bringing their southern-rock-leaning sound to the small room, which tends to be the better call if you’d rather be close to the stage than in a crowd. And at The Orpheum, it’s a heavier bill — The Word Alive headlining alongside Not Enough Space and Downswing — for anyone who wants their Saturday night loud.

The nice part about Ybor on a night like this is you’re not locked into one choice at 6 PM. Doors and set times vary by venue, so it’s genuinely possible to catch part of one show and walk to another before the night’s out — 7th Avenue is walkable, and cover charges at these rooms are usually modest compared to a big-venue ticket.

Check each venue’s page for exact set times and cover before you go, since smaller club bills shift more than arena shows do.
