If you grew up on freestyle radio in the late ’80s and ’90s, Saturday night is the closest thing the genre gets to a reunion tour. Freestyle Explosion 2026 packs Stevie B (“Because I Love You”) and Lisa Lisa (“I Wonder If I Take You Home”) onto one bill with The Cover Girls, TKA, Judy Torres, George Lamond, Lisette Melendez, 69 Boyz, and J.J. Fad, at the Yuengling Center in Tampa.

The venue’s own billing calls it “a high-energy celebration of freestyle’s biggest hits and most influential artists — live on one stage for one incredible night,” and the lineup backs that up: J.J. Fad’s “Supersonic” earned a Grammy nomination, and 69 Boyz’s “Tootsie Roll” is still a instantly recognizable party anthem decades later.

It’s an arena show, so plan for arena logistics — the Yuengling Center sits on USF’s campus off Bull Run Drive, with box office and ticket questions handled through the venue directly.
