David Koechner — Champ Kind in “Anchorman,” Todd Packer in “The Office” — plays three nights at Side Splitters Comedy Club, with two shows a night on opening night.
He has been a working stand-up since his Second City and SNL days in the ’90s, long before the film roles, and Side Splitters is a club room, not an arena — the kind of setting where his stand-up persona has more room to run than the broad comedy of his film characters.
This is adult stand-up, not family programming — skip it for kids, and expect the venue’s standard two-item minimum.
