Rush is touring for the first time in eleven years, and for the first time ever without drummer Neil Peart, who died in 2020. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are playing two separate Tampa shows at Benchmark International Arena, each with a 35-song rotating setlist and a tribute segment to Peart built into every night.
For a band that famously stopped touring back in 2015, this is as close as most fans will ever get again to seeing Rush live — a real one-time event, not a routine stop.
An arena rock show, nothing inappropriate for kids content-wise, though it runs long and loud for young ones.
Good to know: Benchmark International Arena, 401 Channelside Dr, Tampa, FL 33602. Monday, Nov. 9 and Wednesday, Nov. 11, both 7:30pm. Tickets through Ticketmaster, roughly $148-$586.
