Clearwater Marine Aquarium runs its Dolphin Yoga session on Friday, August 14, from 5:45 to 7 p.m.
The evening opens with a short educational presentation from aquarium staff at 5:45, and yoga begins at 6. The class is held inside the aquarium with a direct view of the dolphin habitat, and the aquarium treats the session as visual enrichment for the dolphins as well — the animals watch the class as much as the class watches them.
Sessions are led by Sherry Duquet, co-owner of Madeira Beach Yoga, and run monthly on select dates.
Cost: $30, or $27 for aquarium members.
Bring: your own mat and water.
Note: tickets do not include aquarium admission before the event, and children need to be able to follow the class on their own.
