The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, August 22 at
7:30 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium — the Bucs’ only home game of the 2026 preseason, confirmed
directly on the team’s official schedule.
It’s a rematch of sorts: the two teams last met at Raymond James Stadium at the end of the 2020
season, when Tampa Bay beat Kansas City 31-9 to become the first team in NFL history to win a
Super Bowl in its own home stadium. This year’s meeting is preseason only, but it’s still the
Bucs’ single shot at a home game before the regular season opens.
Raymond James Stadium is located at 4201 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. As with any preseason
game, expect a lighter atmosphere and more roster experimentation than a regular-season matchup —
starters typically play limited snaps.
If you’re only going to one Bucs game at the Ray Jay this preseason, this is the one.
